The prophet said to plant a garden, so that’s what we’ll do!
But have you ever wondered…
What will grow in our climate? How do you prepare soil properly? When should I plant? How much should I water? What can I grow easily in pots or planters? What grows well together?
We have got the answers!
President Palmer & Brother Oliphant will teach us about their experiences in gardening as well as answer your questions!
Thursday, September 9th
6:30pm
Light dinner served ~ Childcare available

“We encourage you to grow all the food that you feasibly can on your own property. Grow vegetables and eat them from your own yard. Even those residing in apartments … can generally grow a little food in pots and planters. Study the best methods of providing your own foods. Make your garden … neat and attractive as well as productive. If there are children in your home, involve them in the process with assigned responsibilities.” –President Spencer W. Kimball
